Some Rooms Too Warm...
    Other Rooms Too Cool?

The Solution is a Design Comfort Home

Do you find yourself constantly fiddling with the thermostat, space heaters and fans? You wouldn’t have one light switch for your entire house, why have one thermostat...

A Design Comfort Home offers the easy, affordable, economical solution. It is a simply a way of dividing your home into areas with similar heating and cooling requirements, with each area or room being controlled by its own thermostat.Every home has at least two areas that need separate control; the living area and sleeping area, which are seldom used at the same time.  Others are typically divided between upstairs and downstairs; master and kid’s bedrooms, formal living room, dining room, family room and kitchen.  Each area is often occupied at different times and has different heating and cooling loads. The result with a Design Comfort Home is total comfort, no matter where you are inside your home.

Energy Savings You Can Bank On!

When combined with wireless programmable thermostats, a Desig Comfort Home allows you to conserve energy,up to 40% which can add up to hundreds of dollars in savings per year.**

How Does a Design Comfort Home Work?

Each air vent in your home has an inflatable damper in the ductwork connecting it that opens or shuts based on your heating/cooling requirements.  These dampers are controlled through the thermostat for that particular room or area. When you don’t need to condition the air, you save energy because the dampers close the ductwork in that area of your home.  When you combine your system with automatic setback, you’ll save even more money because you can program each area to automatically provide different temperatures during various times of the day. This truly provides the temperature you want... where you want it... when you want it!
